Malaga CF to sign http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044 – La Liga transfer speculation
Malaga CF have been linked with a number of high profile signings since the culmination of 2010/11 La Liga season. The latest name linked with the Andalusian club is Chelsea hit-man, Didier Drogba.
The club have been active in the post-season, notching up http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863’s Joaquin Sanchez. As the experienced duo makes the southern city their new home, the Ivorian can be enticed to La Liga.
Drogba has found himself reserved to the bench since the arrival of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809. Under former coach, Carlo Ancelotti, the player had found playing time reduced as the team’s strategy was changed to incorporate the talented Spaniard.
With Chelsea linked to high profile signings of Sergio Aguero and Santos’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radamel-Falcao-c30276, who played under the tactician in
his UEFA Europa League winning team.
It is expected that one of the South American’s will move to London as the squad is being revamped under new manager Villas Boas. Whoever joins the club, it is believed that Drogba will discontinue his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Love-c22466 affair with the Fulham Road club as he wants to
continue his playing career in the top-flight.
With his future uncertain at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, Drogba will fancy a move away from the club. Cash-rich Malaga CF are being linked with the Chelsea star, while French outfit Marseille would like the player to return to familiar shores.
A move to Malaga is premature at the moment but the player can be attracted by the riches of the club. The Qatari owners will not hesitate to better the African star’s wages and would welcome the marquee signing at the club. With seven new players already
settling down at the club, Drogba’s signing will mark the end of the clubs activities in the transfer window.
The player will lead the lines with legendary Dutch striker, van Nistelrooy, who joined the club on a free transfer. It will be an enviable strike partnership in the league. Outside the top-two, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728 Madrid, no other team can boast of such
quality – if the move takes place.
With the club adding quality and experience in the squad, it offers a good proposition for the former African Player of the Year. He will become a part of another ambitious project, after remaining a key player in Roman Abramovich’s Chelsea revolution for
many years.
Malaga are not the only side interested in the Ivory Coast international as he approaches his twilight years. Former club Marseille have publicly announced their wish to bring their stalwart back. The club is ready to match the player’s wages as they aim
to bring Drogba back, though Chelsea’s valuation of the African legend remains a hurdle.
It is still too soon to say whether the player will move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Réunion-c2989 with Jose Mourinho but nothing came of that report. The rumour mill is likely to grind again as the Madrid manager
looks to add another striker to his squad.
The player can have his pick of clubs if he decides to leave. Clubs all across Europe will be ready to open their purses for the reliable striker. While a return to Marseille will be great for the player, an opportunity to play against the likes of Valencia,
Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Villarreal, and Real Madrid will be too tempting to turn down.
