Following the departure of Salomon Rondon and Santi Cazorla, the Andalusian coastal club have found refuge on the shoulders of their young prodigy and want to tie him at La Rosaleda for a long time.

Sporting director, Mario Husillos, revealed that they will get in touch with his representatives shortly and ensure he pledges his future to Los Anchovies.
“We will chat with him as soon as possible,” Husillos said on the microphones of Radio Marca today.
“He is playing football in his home country at a club that suits his style.”
“We believe that the best place for him to do that is Malaga. We want to enjoy him for many years without impeding his growth.”
He acknowledged that Malaga’s hand has been forced by his impressive performances in UEFA Champions League with interest increasing for his services.
“We know his potential, his growth and in the Champions League his profile has grown. He is a fantastic player.”
Despite the speculated interest, Husillos refuted claims that Russian Premier League clubs have made enquiries for his signature.
Nevertheless, the sporting director admitted that English Premier League outfit, Tottenham Hotspurs, tried to sign him before the end of 2012 summer transfer window.
However, Husillos added that Isco is a Malaga player and he will only be allowed to depart La Rosaleda if his buyout clause is met, claiming that he is happy around his native surroundings.
