The Spanish midfielder joined Malaga last season, from Villarreal, and even though the two parties are having a problem, Malaga are not willing to sell the player.
Last season Malaga entered the Spanish La Liga, expecting to become a big force in the league.
Their owner spent a lot of money on buying new players and with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-c23383 Pellegrini as their coach; they were expected to end up in the top four of the league.
While signing a few star players in order to bolster the first-team, Malaga decided to look for players not only http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 but also abroad.
However, the best signing which they made was of the Villarreal midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santi-Cazorla-c32505.
The pint-sized player is simply phenomenal on the ball and he can tilt a game on his head when he’s in the best of his forms.
Villarreal parted ways with the midfielder and he was one of the reasons why the Yellow Submarine couldn’t survive the Spanish top-flight football and they were relegated in the same season.
In recent news it has been reported that Villarreal did not receive full payment of the Spanish midfielder. Moreover, Malaga haven’t even given Santi Cazorla his wages and the Spaniard is now expecting to move away from the club.
However, Malaga have recently made it clear that they are not willing to part ways with their main player. The midfielder is an integral part of the team and Malaga definitely consider him to play for them in the future.
The 27-year-old was lured in for 17 million Pounds and Villarreal have not received the payment for the Spaniard.
While many consider that Santi Cazorla will be sold to a new club, the Qatari owner, Ghubn, recently said Malaga are not a selling club and they will not be parting ways with the midfielder.
While addressing the press and speaking about Cazorla’s departure, Ghubn said:
“We are not a selling club!”
This season Malaga will try not to create more problems for themselves as they are in the transfer market trying to recruit more talent.
The reason for this is the fact that they will be playing in the qualifying stages of the UEFA Champions League and they need good players to represent them on such a big platform.
