 “I’ve had a very difficult time but I’m strong mentally. We are in the final straight and it’s been bad all the time I’ve been out injured, seeing my teammates play and not being able to help.”
With respect to his teammates, Baptista hailed his fellow Malaga players, claiming that they have been supportive of him during the whole injury ordeal.
The Brazilian added that the doctor has given him a five month deadline, but believes he will be making comeback sooner rather than later.
“I really want to be one of the team and everyone asks me when that will be. I have to go by what the doctor says and he reckons around four to five months, but I don’t know if that could be four-and-a-half. His intention is that I’m back before the end
of the year.”
