Malate to Antipolo, is if very far? Best way to visit Antipolo for an hour, then return Malate?

Is it close enought to take a taxi, or should I negotiate a set rate so he will stand by for an hour?

  1. nah. only  if it were a holiday and at top speed, you will get there  in about an hour or so. Otherwise, you will face a gauntlet of traffic.

    (Manila-QC-Pasig-Cainta-Antipolo or Manila-San Juan-Pasig-Cainta-Antipolo) It is not just a next nearby town from Manila.


  2. It is quite expensive to take a taxi but then it's OK so as to save yourself from over fatigue in transferring from one vehicle to another and from inhaling pollution.

    It will not take you an hour to go there due to heavy traffic.  But if you will leave early, say, between 5AM-6AM, you will be able to get there within an hour.

  3. It is about an hour or more depending on the traffic, thus, you have to negotiate with the taxi driver.
