Malaysia and Russia will fight today on May 23, to find a place in the quarter-final of the Sudirman Cup, which is in progress at Qingdao, China. Both teams will field their best shuttlers to win the match, which is very crucial for both sides.

Malaysia’s national coach, Rashid Sidek warned the shuttlers to play with their full potential against Russia and not to underestimate their opponents, particularly in the Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles matches. The Russians had managed to win their Mixed
Doubles point against Indonesia yesterday.
Rashid said, “They are quite strong in the mixed doubles. The Russian women have also improved and it will not be that easy to beat them.”
