Malaysia’s http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Eszrafiq-Abdul-Aziz-c56444 tormented the Fiji batters to claim a five-wicket haul, as the visitors crumbled on a sluggish 129 in the ICC World Cricket League match, played at the Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur, on September 20, 2011.
The first session was totally dominated by the hosts, with Aziz ripping through the middle-order to bundle out the opponents inside 50 overs.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sekove-Ravoka-c89162 grinding out the first 10 overs.
With them going at a little over 2 runs per over, the bowling side always remained in command and was duly rewarded when Ullah http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Shafiq-Sharif-c77311. The batter could only muster 8, consuming 30 deliveries.
The wicket opened the flood http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gates-c58585 as a run later, Ullah Khan struck again, cleaning up Kida to send him packing.
Aziz then dismantled the next three, which included the important scalp of Fiji skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Josefa-Falani-Rika-c69246, who could only make 13 off 42. This put the visitors five down, having just posted 51 on the board.
There was some resilience offered by innings' top scorer, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Colin-Darian-Rika-c51405, with the player looking solid in his knock of 27, which included two boundaries. That did not stop the Malaysian contingent to make constant inroads as Rika was caught lbw by spinner,

The team managed to pass the 100-run mark, courtesy of Maciu Guana and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Khan-c77067 as the two partnered in a 29-run stand for the 8th wicket. It remained the innings highest partnership, which was brought to an end by Aziz, as he cleaned up
Khan with a scorcher.
The last two wickets fell in the final over of Aziz, with the first being that of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kitiano-Suliasi-Biudole-Tavo-c71564 (1), who was unfortunately run out, followed by a nicely held catch by Shahrulnizam Yusof, to send the last man, Sakaraia Lomanim (0) quickly back to the changing
room.
This left Gauna stranded on 24 - a good knock with the player hitting three confident boundaries. Fiji could only bat 44.4 overs, disappointing with their overall play.
The Malaysian bowlers took full use of their home conditions and bowled to a perfect line and length. Apart from Aziz, all impressed with Ullah Khan getting a brace, followed by a wicket each for Hassan Ghulam and Rashid Ahad.
It will be a difficult task for the visitors when they come out to bowl but will have to make full use of the new ball in order to stake a claim in the match.
