The tourists were three down when the succeeding batsmen, Bisson and the captain, Gough, stepped up and brought things under control.
The two players put together 88 runs for the third-wicket-partnership, lifting their side to a strong position in the contest. However, Bisson and Gough lost their wickets in quick succession after scoring 38 and 37 respectively.
