Malaysia v Maldives – Asian Cricket Council Trophy Elite 2012 (Group A) – Match Update
A five-wicket haul from Anwar Rahman, followed by Ahmed Faiz’ unbeaten half-ton, propelled Malaysia to a 7 wicket win over Maldives in their Group A match, during the ongoing Asian Cricket Council Trophy Elite 2012, played on October 7 at the Sharjah Cricket

Maldives won the toss and skipper Moosa Kaleem decided to bat first. However, Player of the Match Anwar Rahman (10-0-27-5) and Nazril Rahman (7-1-31-2) both ensured that Maldives were kept at bay, and eventually restricted all out to a final total of 146.
