Next up on the Centre Court is the fifth seed tennis ace David Ferrer who will face a seventeen-year wild card entrant, Bernard Tomic from Australia on the very first occasion in his career. The previous time Bernard came against a top twenty tennis foe,

year, making his way into the quarterfinals or better on eight occasions at the ATP World Tour. However, Ferrer did fall in the opening round of Malaysian Open tennis tournament back in 2009. Tomic, on the other hand, is playing in his debut championship in
Kuala Lumpur.
In one of the Wednesday’s second round clashes, the sixth seed tennis player Marcos Baghdatis will talk on Santiago Giraldo from Colombia on the very first occasion in his career. Marcos has successfully managed to make his way into the quarters or better
on a total of eight occasions so far this season. On the contrary, Santiago has proved himself versus the top twenty tennis stars in 2010 as a result of recording victories against Juan Carlos Ferrero as well as Tommy Robred, both who were ranked inside the
top twenty at that time.
The final match of Wednesday will feature the second seed and last year’s winner Nikolay Davydenko versus a qualifier from Russia, Igor Andreev in an all-Russian clash. Nikolay secured his 20th ATP World Tour trophy in the opening week of the year in Doha.
Ignor, however, triumphed in their first match whereas, Nikolay has triumphed in three in a row, including twice on the hard surface.
On the court number one, the French tennis player Edouard Roger-Vasselin will meet a qualifier from Czech Republic Frantisek Cermak in the opening round clash, whereas the seventh seed and two-time ATP World Tour champion this season Sergiy Stakhovsky from
Ukraine will take on another qualifier from Canada, Milos Raonic in a second-round match.
Earlier on Tuesday, Raonic registered his first career ATP World Tour victory over Igor Kunitsyn in a two-setter clash. The final match score was 7-6(6), 6-3. The match concluded in a time period of eighty six minutes in Kuala Lumpur. Raonic, on his way
to the second round run, blasted a total of twenty three aces to get past his Russian tennis foe, Igor Kunitsyn.
He after the match said, “It feels very good. I played my best tennis in a while today. I have been having a good summer, so it is good to continue here into the indoor swing, where I feel I play well. It is a little weight off my shoulders, getting my first
ATP win. I served really well, that helped me a lot and took a lot of pressure off me.”
