Malaysia’s Jin Wei, who is just 11 years old, has vowed to become the country’s top shuttler in the Singles category. She has been delivering a terrific performance in the junior events for the last two years.
Jin is now eyeing the upcoming national school badminton event of MSSM. She is optimistic to win the Girl’s Singles title in the Under-12 category in this event, which will take place in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, from June 1-5.
In the previous episode of MSSM, Jin performed really well and reached the semi-final of the championship, proving that she is going to become a potential shuttler in the near future. This time, the little girl is determined to clinch the title as she has
been working hard to achieve her goal.
While talking about the upcoming event along with her future plans regarding badminton, Jin said, “I want to be the country’s top player one day. Now I want to win my first gold medal in the national schools competition.”
Jin has been performing really well in the 100 Plus National Junior Circuit for the last two years. She grabbed the attention of coaches and others also by displaying a scintillating game in the court.
Jsin started to play badminton when she was just four years old. Her determination to become a top badminton player pushed her forward and she started to make her presence felt at the age of nine. She has a superb style of play, which indicates that she
is a quick learner and has the potential to become one of the top shuttlers in the world of badminton.
The shuttler has great chances to become a future star as the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), which is the governing body of badminton in Malaysia, is working on junior programmes to produce quality shuttlers.
In the forthcoming school championships, Jin is the favourite for the title as she has no major competitor who could stop her from winning the Girl’s Singles title in the event of MSSM.
