Malaysia’s Wong Pei Tty - Chin Eei h*i determined to beat Indonesian opponents in Sudirman Cup 2011
Malaysia’s Women’s Doubles players, Wong Pei Tty and Chin Eei h*i, are determined to beat their Indonesian opponents in the final group match of the Sudirman Cup 2011.

The encounter will be played at Qingdao, China, on May 25.

Wong Pei and Chin Eei are making their first appearance in the Sudirman Cup against the Indonesian shuttlers. The Malaysian duo will face Greysia Polii and Meiliana Jauhari of Indonesia, who is currently ranked at World Number Five in the international Women’s Doubles rankings.
In the previous four head-to-head meetings of these two pairs, the Indonesians are leading the table by 4-0. However, Wong Pei and Chin Eei are confident to break the deadlock by beating their opponents.
The Indonesians thrashed the Malaysian pair in their previous meeting in the India Open Super Series 2011. Wong Pei and Chin Eei are determined to earn a precious point for their team by beating Greysia and Meiliana in today’s Group B match.
If Wong Pei and Chin Eei manage to win their match against the Indonesians today, it will definitely help the side to win the team event match and get at the top of the group.
The consistent performance of Wong Pei and Chin Eei in the last few months indicates that the duo is more mature now. Wong Pei, who has recovered from a knee injury said, “My knee is holding up fine. It’s nice to be playing good badminton again. I hope that my condition will get better and better.”
She further added that today’s match is important for them but they are also targeting the World Championships.
Wong Pei said, “We hope to play our part. It will not be easy against the Indonesians but we hope to end our losing streak against them. Our main focus is to do well in the world championships and also in next year’s Olympic Games.”
Wong Pei and Chin Eei are looking to win a good match, which will raise their confidence not only in the Sudirman Cup but also for the upcoming event of the World Badminton Championships, which will take place in August at the Wembley Indoor Arena in London, England.
