Male Cat lovessssss clothes?

Why does my neutered male cat drag clothes around and hump them? Is this normal. My other cat does not do this. It gets embarrasing when someone comes over.

I'm guessing your cat is about 1 year or 2 years old. If it's the case then your cat is doing this out of a dominance play. When he jumps your clothes, it is to put is pheromones on them. He's always doing this on fresh out of the washing machine clothes isn't he? That's because your odor and his odor is not on it anymore. He needs to put it back to mark it.

There is not much you can do about it. I would need to see his territorial behavior in order to help further. See where your cat sleeps. Is your other cat the dominant one? If so, go buy cat tree to allow them to share more space (cat establish their territory on 3 dimensions where Height determinant the dominance trait of a cat.
