Is one a better talker, more active, or what. The only reason why I dont want female one is because they can get egg binding problems..and males cant.

  1. males are better at talking

    both are equally active

females are more "cuddly" and affectionate

any other questions just email me

  2. I have a female Sun Conure, she only says one word in human talk that is plain.   That is, Good!   When I give her a treat, she'll take a bite and then say Good.  Sometimes in a low crackly  voice at night you can hear a night night.  When I was shopping for a bird right before I bought her, the breeder and also the people at The Ranch Hand, that sold birds, told me it doesn't matter on the s*x on speaking.   They said, some will and some won't , in either s*x.   I happen to get one that choses not too.  And it is not because I have not worked with her.  I do everyday, several times a day.  I still do and had her 7 years. I still love her, she loves to snuggle.

I have a male Green Cheeked Conure and only thin he says is, he once in a blue moon, real softly sings his name and says I love you Buddy.  He once in a great while gives a soft wolf whistle.  Other than that he don't talk either.  So there shows it doesn't matter the s*x.  Just some choose to and some don't.
