Yeah, well I'm 15yo, guy, and I play some really advanced volleyball. I still have 3 years of highschool left to play, and I'm already the team captain, and setter on my team. I was wondering how I would go about getting a volleyball scolarship to a good college? I don't know how it's done. I live in the central states, and I'm homeschooled. Any ideas? Is it even possible?

  1. scouts

  2. you have to get scouts to come see u

  3. I think michigan state has a male volleyball team. i'm not positive though. But most high schools don't have male vb teams so play club and do GREAT and hopefully you'll be noticed. Good luck with everything... ps: setters rule!!!!

  4. Lots of scholarships out there fir volleyball.  Put a dvd of some of your better games and send it to the colleges you wish to apply to.

If your good enough they make the effort to try and see you play live and come and meet you.

    Good luck.

  5. Yes a lot of schools on the west coast have very good volleyball programs. If you ever watch ESPN2 sometimes they show men's college volleyball. You should ask your coach about it. I am sure he would know who to put you in touch with.

  6. The West Coast will probably have all the Div 1 mens volleyball teams with the scholarships you're looking for.  I'd record some of your games and send it out to recruiters.  They might send a scout out to check see you play.  I'm sure your coach would also have more information, otherwise, if you're near a school with even a women's team, talk to their coach.
