Male. Justin Henin was the only player who could have come close to competing on the mens tour.

Right now womens tennis is a bit of a joke. Bring her back with Kim and Jennifer Capriati!!! Womens tennis has been poor this year. In 2004 there was the Williams sisters on top, Jen, Lindsay, Amelie and the Belgians etc aswell as the emergence of the Russians. Womens tennis has gone backwards dramatically this in the last 2 years in particialar.

Male. The men are faster, stronger, more aggressive, and in grand slams play longer matches that are more exciting. The women are great athletes, but the men are just naturally bigger, faster, stronger, all that stuff.

If you're asking who would win in tennis then it would probably be men. The speed advantage in serving for the men would be hard to overcome for the women. Then again, I think if Justine Henin were still playing she could beat more than a few on the ATP tour.

Edit: I've been watching women's tennis since 2002 or 2003 and I've always noticed the women's game isn't as great to watch as men's. Sure there have been some great matches, but too few and far between. There are far too many unforced errors and some players are just too emotional. There's an awful lot of "choking" as well. More often than not if a match goes to three sets, the player who makes fewer mistakes wins. Was women's tennis cleaner and more watchable in the 90's? I never got to see players like Graf play...

Hmm I think male because of guys like Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal. They make tennis breath taking to watch with their skills and endurance. No females have played tennis as beautifully or skillfully as guys like Nadal and Federer. Well there was Graf but I was too young to watch her :p

you know the saying.... girls rule boys drool, girls go to college to get more knowledge, boys go to jupiter to get more stupider.... as for tennis, the same goes for that too! :-)
