Malfunctioning American Fridge Freezer

Samsung Combination Fridge/Freezer RS55 - after a power cut the compresser does not come back on immediately. The lights in the fridge & freezer come on but not on the LED panel. Samsung seem to offer no help! Its 4 days to Christmas and the freezer is full of food - HELP!
