  1. Africa-doomed.  China-will doom everyone else while saving itself.  India-doomed.  South America-may work out.  Japan-have lasted six thousand years and are not going anywhere.

I favor limiting immigration from now on and not opening up the flood gates.  We have a diverse, multicultural society.  We cannot save the world.  Some desirable refugees and certain elite people for business, education and work could be chosen in moderate numbers.  A man or woman could bring over a new spouse from the country of origin but people should no longer be allowed to bring over extended families and several generations or even several wives.  Illegal immigrants should be deported: the only exception should a legitimate refugee claim that was refused or never processed.

  2. I believe we can solve any problem that we created. I hope we have the will to do so. I see a future where every home is energy neutral, where people refuse to work horrendous hours away from their family, where homes are cheaper and faster to build, where communities come together to support each other, where food and water is grown and collected in your own backyard, where everything is recycled, where new inland areas are designed to be cities for the future away from the coastal fringe, where school for children encourages them and develops them at their own pace, not comparing them to anyone else. The world will find an eco-fuel that works for us AND the planet AND the environment. Garbage dumps will no longer exist and old ones will be mined for methane and other useful by-products. Nuclear waste will be safely disposed of, and solar power will rule the world.

Global warming will be halted, and a more normal weather cycle established.
