  1. I'm a big fan of Maloney, he brings  his pace and dead ball expertise. that is a big plus, the negatives are will he shine the way he did, and will the fan's hold the olive branch out to him, only time will tell.

  2. Naka,mizuno,mc geady,mc court,brown,robson,the superb cad dis,is Maloney going to improve the squad ?yes...but at who's expense

  3. has 52's button stuck?... or is that a reaction of a scared man?

great to see Maloney back..the prodigal bhoy has returned, I for one have forgotten already that he left..let's not blame Maloney for this he should have been given the wages he wanted to stay..I mean look at Grav and Balde,

anyway I am very happy with the news that he is home!!

    Super Shaun Maloney!!

  4. good for Celtic...bad for Rangers.

  5. i think its good. Hes a good wee player and great at the free kicks. Got the pace Celtic dont have anymore. i think he will be a great Sub for either Nakamura or McGeady in the games that they are S***e or tired.

He has proved before that his pace gets chances and goals, and what Both sides of the Old Firm lack theses days is Pace...

  6. Think its a good move, was great when he was here before so if he can play as well as that then we will be flying. I know people questioned his commitment before, rightly so, but now he has been away and wanted back we know he wants to be here and he should show us loyalty which was lacking before hand

  7. Good move Shaun. Get the Hoops back on and smile again son.

Here for the 4 in a row party.com

  8. You're right about the 53thing. But onto the important part yes I expect we Shaun to have an excellent season.

  9. Great move, agree totally with Scotsair he brings back a bit of pace we have been lacking, havn't had a player with a bit of speed like him for a while.

I reckon that the player knows theres been the whole talk of reject thing goin about and will have a point to prove.

When he gets the winner to bring us to the last8 or even to qualify out of our group I for one will be shouting at Maloney "Gwan you fu#kin beauty".

Yep im blocked from 52:-) he gone cryin to his mammy.

I presume 52:-) that you have had the same avatar name for 3yrs.

Ah well,as Johnny Logan sang"Whats another year".

  10. As long as he plays more regular football for Scotlands sake!

    It no matter!

  11. i think it is a good move although belated, I would have liked to see him come back last season. hopefully he can do his talking on the pitch and we will start to forget he way he walked out on the club.

but look what happened to kenny miller,  keep my fingers crossed that shaun will play for the jersey and ill be worth taking back.

  12. i liked him when he was at parkhead the first time but the way he left the club left a lot to be desired he may have to win a lot of the fans all over again

  13. its good for celtic as hes a great player but as I'm a rangers fan then its a bad move

  14. As I previously posted the terms of which he left Parkhead left a sour taste with a lot of the fans.

No doubt the experience of playing at a higher level will hold him in good stead; BUT and it is a big but as Thomas stated will be be as hungry this time round?

No doubt the talent is there, and to be honest with him back does it mean reverting to the 3-5-2 or is there an audacious move ahead for a 4-3-3?

  15. maloney "am away doon south, barry proven he can cut it there"

maloney "sorry boss ah couldnae get a start, barry won umpteen man of the match awards and was great fur blackburn but ah couldnae even get a game under oneill - barrys better than me"

fact is, many say barry couldnt cut it.  he did, he got iunjured, got stacks of motm awards for a less than favourable team, yet baloney couldnt get a game for an even less favourable team.

were pure shitin oorselves... aye right.

  16. the jury is still out on that one

i personally would not want him back

but most are of the opinion that 2nd time round he may be more hungrier and less lazier than when he was at villa

the one i would have liked back is Petrov

just have to wait and see

  17. welcome home shauny bhoy

    52 is a length..dinne worry

  18. Great for Celtic, some decent cover for McGeady especially and Nakamura. Also people forget he's also a decent wee striker! He'll also be pushing our 3 best outfield players (in my opinion) McGeady, Nakamura and McDonald and the other strikers for a place so it will help to improve the squad quite a bit!

Also, it's obvious how much he wants to come back so he'll be hungry to show us all what we've been missing and I'm sure he's learnt his lesson after walking out!

    Welcome home Shaun

  19. Well he is a good player but he never settled in at aston villa
