Question:

Malta and Tunisia in winter?

I was wondering if winter is a good time to visit Malta and Tunisia during the months of December and January. I would want to take advantage of the extraordinary beaches in both countries, but I am worried about the temperature during this time. I wouldn't be spending too much time in inland Tunisia, as I will be focusing on the North and Eastern Coasts. Also, does anyone know what the best method for traveling in Tunisia. Are the trains reliable, or would it be better to just rent a car? And how should i plan on traveling between the two countries; by ferry or plane?

  1. ideally anyone traveling to Malta should come between  june and september(summer) to take advantage of our fantastic weather and entertainment, if you are planning to come in december/january i would suggest to forget the idea of swimming unless in an indoor pool cos it will be freezing, nevertheless its a beautiful island all year round and you will find plenty of things to keep you busy especially if you are into history, tradition and culture, if so Malta is a paradise bosting some of the oldest temples in the world.if you like the nightlife than paceville(St Julians) is where you need to visit, with around twenty discos, bars and numerous restaraunts all situated in close proximaty. unfortunately i cant tell you anything about tunisia but if you would like any more info on Malta let me know

  2. if you want cool wheather but warm seas... then i suggest you come between october and november...  the temperatures will be between 12 and 18, but the sea might be at a slightly higher temperature... quite nice if you like it lukewarm...

    enjoy your holiday!
