Our mama kitty had kits a week ago and at first we thought they were all eating well since they all were huddled in that area. After a day or so we noticed that one kitten is growing like crazy and the others are smaller...two of the kittens are weaker and one poor little thing might not make it. We bought some KMR and have been dropper-feeding every couple of hours since the second day but the very small one is lethargic and won't take much when we do feed her. She cries a lot and it is breaking my heart...can we do something else or is this something we need to call a vet for? Money is very tight and we just can't afford a vet bill now, but I wonder if the littlest kitten can hold out with just bottle feeding. The others really push and shove for the one nipple and we take the 2 largest ones out occasionally so the littler ones can get a chance. The smallest doesn't seem to have the energy to latch on to mama at all. I know that sometimes nature takes its' own course but I don't want to give up yet...help? Bless you!!!
