Authority took over the club. The player’s faith in the Ligue 1 outfit haven’t dwindled once and despite the numerous offers from foreign clubs, Sakho feels committed to his current club.
The Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate signed for the club at the age of 17 and since then has worked his way to gain a place in the first team. The player has been an important member of Les Parisiens in the season 2012/13 campaign.
Sakho recalled his childhood memories, saying:
"When I was young I used to watch the Classique with all my mates in the neighbourhood.”
The 23-year-old explained that he has been a childhood fan of Les Parisiens. The defender feels that playing for his long-supported club is really emotional for him, as not many players get that opportunity. The player finds it
to be an honour to be able to represent his team’s colours on the pitch. He said:
“It was a very special moment for me. I've always been a PSG fan, I used to go to the Parc des Princes as a kid, starting when I was seven or eight, so to be able to defend the colours of my team on the pitch was very emotional.”

genuinely stressed, as he expressed his disappointed:
"Last season. Honestly, I was totally gutted. When I went home I didn't speak to anyone, I took my phone off the hook. It was tough. I didn't feel like eating.”
