On Sunday, November 27, 2011, Stade Velodrome, Marseille will see bitter rivals http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 host Paris Saint-Germain in this season’s first Clasico.
The game between the two French heavyweights is the main game of the Week 15 of the Championelle and is also the most important fixture in the Ligue 1 calendar.
In 90 years of the meetings between the two sides, a media war before the actual war has often been witnessed but today, the atmosphere is less volatile than it used to be in the late 60s till early 80s when both sides competed neck-to-neck for accolades.

The 21-year-old gave an interview to magazine Surface on Thursday and had his say on the upcoming Clasico. Asked by reporters about his side’s chances in the game, Sakho said with his usual honesty that he is not thinking about defeated because the game
hasn’t even started.
PSG lost to Nancy Lorraine last week at home and Sakho admits that his side took a slap on the face. The Frenchman however feels that his side will do better when they face their traditional foes.
“The defeat against Nancy was a slap. But it will help us to challenge ourselves and prepare for Sunday’s game very seriously.”
Antoine Kombouare’s future has been discussed a lot in recent weeks and Sakho was all praises for the under-fire Kanak coach.

PSG play Marseille on Sunday and Sakho’s return to full fitness is certainly a big boost for Kombouare who would be looking to register a massive win against an under-pressure Marseille side.
