The Paris-based club’s coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has ruled out the transfer rumours linking the 22-year-old with a move away from Parc des Princes.
The Magpies are seeking to bolster their defensive options in the January transfer window, with the France international among their preferred targets. The English Premier League side are currently involved in relegation battle, and they want to use the
January transfer window to sign players who can help them in their cause.
Sakho has been linked with Newcastle United for a while now. And considering that he is no longer assured a starting spot in the line-up, it would be the right time for the Magpies to step up their efforts to sign the defender.
However, it would not be an easy task to lure the PSG academy graduate to the St. James Park. Carlo Ancelotti insisted that the player is not going anywhere, and wants him to be patient. The Italian wants the young defender to have faith in him, and that

“He can’t understand my decision to leave him out but that is logical.”

“He is not in a position to leave. He will stay because he is an important player.”
However, with Alex being out of injury, the Frenchman has earned his place back among the starting eleven. The defender is considered to be a prized asset by the club, and Les Parisiens do not seem willing to part ways with their young defender.
