Once a symbol of the club, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international has admitted that if the club signs a defender this summer, he will most likely leave Parc des Princes
The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabriel-Paletta-c14326 have been linked with moves to Paris Saint-Germain in recent days. Carlo Ancelotti, the club’s coach, has admitted that he is looking for a central defender for next season.
If the club does manage to sign a defender, it would mean that Les Parisiens would be losing a player in Mamadou Sakho. The 22-year-old centre-back is a product of the club’s youth academy and before the arrival of Ancelotti at the helm, was an integral
part of the squad and club captain.
In the final games of the 2011/2012 campaign, Sakho became an unused substitute which eventually cost him his place in the French team that featured in the recently concluded European Championships in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032.
While talking to media, Sakho revealed that he will be forced to consider his future if the club signs a new defender.
“If a defender comes, I’ll do anything to leave because I have to think about my future. I will be open to proposals from clubs willing to give me playing time and allow me to continue my progress.”
However, the player is willing to wait and see how things will unfold when training resumes for next season. Sakho says that he will know during July’s warm-up games if the staff has trust in him or not. Sakho says that he does not want to be part of a side
that will win trophies without his help as he wants to contribute to PSG’s success.
When you’re a player and you hear someone is always looking for players at your position, you take it automatically in your head that you have become undesirable and this pushes you towards the exit door. That was my feeling anyway.”
Sakho then revealed that he had a discussion with Ancelotti and the Italian’s speech was not really reassuring.
Since making his debut for Les Parisiens in 2007, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mamadou-Sakho-c23293 has played over 124 games for the Ile giants and it seems that he will not be wearing the capital club’s colours next season.
