  1. its real [your link seems to be a distraction try this link

    http://www.youtube.com/results?search_qu...

the joe fuel cell is proven teqnoligy

sure the profiteers dont like free fuel so they will blog [and pay others to blog distractions

    the joe fuel cell works

    live with it

rent it to people if you must

or tax people half the price of petrol [even give some money to the petro share holders [so no one loses buut our planet survives

    free energy is real

realise the truth and get real

    we can workit out

    stop this petrol rip off

petrol has to last more than a nother 100 years

we still need petro chemical but havnt got the spare water to make bio fuels [we need crops to grow our food , but burning petro chemicals is waste full and stupid

watch ther future [watch all the truth ] realise only the greedy dont care if we pay the earth for thier proffits

  2. There is no such thing as a car that runs on water.  Please stop posting this type of garbage.

  3. Quite elaborate for an essentially bogus technology.  His 'fuel cell' has a pair of stainless steel electrodes immersed in water + baking soda or some other sort of salt to render the water more conductive.  He uses energy from the battery to dissociate the water into hydrogen and oxygen, which is then taken into the car's air intake and burned along with the fuel.

People who make fine jewelry use a blowtorch that works on the same principle; it uses tap water, and you plug it into the wall to split the water into H and O, which are then recombined and burned in a very clean flame.

The problem is that the electrical energy that splits the water is not free and, in fact, comes from the engine itself by way of the alternator.  The additional current drawn from the alternator by the water-splitting cell makes the alternator that much harder to turn, and that energy has to come from the engine.  Moreover, a good deal of that energy is wasted because the water in the 'fuel cell' gets hot when current is run through it; note that he mentions this fact at the end of the video.

So while it's an interesting thing to fool with, it will not save you a bit of gas.  In fact, what you'll do is use a bit more gas to make that water in the cell hot.

In any of these schemes, it's always important to look at where the energy is coming from.  You cannot gain energy by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen: the water bond takes a lot of energy to break.  And, because the water has a high resistance, there's always heat evolved.

You'll find a lot of discussion to the contrary, of course: this scheme was called "Brown's Gas" when it was first touted in the early 1900's.  It's becoming popular now because everyone slept through their science classes.  I have little doubt that the fellow who is selling the device believes in it.

  4. get real ,the hydro car was invented by Rudolph Steiner almost a century ago .

He was assasinated for his efforts at the time when petroleum was just taking of ,

And those who stole it will not bring it on in a big way as long as they are making money with petrol.

Do you see enthusiasm any where for alternative energies ,I doubt it ,when they have figured out how to charge for Water Air and the sun these things will happen

  5. As long as you are living in a dream world, why stop at using water. Why not run a car on absolutely nothing? It is just as scientifically possible.

  6. Hydrogen can be made using solar or wind or even battery power quite easily.  It is the only fuel that can be produced in enough quantity to make us energy independent.  The problem with hydrogen is anybody can make it so there is no real profit in it.  No one is going to push a profitless product.  No car company is going to make cars using a fuel no one is making.  So we're stuck watching videos instead of driving hydrogen cars.

  7. Scam

    Farce

    Fake

    Impossible

Violates the basic laws of physics.

Let me take it apart and I'll show you how the scam is done.  Its not really running on water.

  8. It takes a large amount of energy to reduce the hydrogen in water so that you can use it to run the car.

At 100% efficiency it takes 35 kilowatt hours of electricity to produce an amount of hydrogen with the energy equivalency of one gallon of gasoline.

At 70% efficiency, that efficiency of most commercially available equipment it requires 50 kilowatt hours to produce an amount of hydrogen with the energy equivalency of one gallon of gasoline. .

If  you use a metal alloy it requires approximately that amount of energy or more to produce the metal alloy to produce the amount of hydrogen with the equivalent amount of energy equal to one gallon of gasoline.

If the electricity to produce the hydrogen is generated in a coal fired power plant you have just transferred the pollution to the location of the power plant.

The only way this can reduce co2 emissions is if the electricity to produce the hydrogen is generated by a renewable source such as windpower.
