Man-Made Mountain in Dallas?

I'm really excited for the Bearfire Resort down by DFW to open up next fall, but a lot of people say that snowboarding on their mountain would be fake..which in reality it is, but really, I'm a kid from the south who NEVER gets to practice snowboarding, so I think having something like this down in Texas would be great. anyway, has anyone been to another man-made mountain (or another bearfire if there is another one)? and if so, how was it?

i know it will never compare to a real mountain, but just being able to have the choice to board at all when I'm at home seems great!

Isn't the only other one in Japan? I've actually only heard about it once in a magazine article someone showed me like two years ago. I'd actually forgotten about it. Of course I don't snowboard, I just think the whole thing is cool.

There are several indoor ski mountains. They are okay since the alternative is no skiing.

You can have a good time so enjoy yourself.
