Man Of Erin expected to prevail in www.totegoracingclub.com Handicap
Man Of Erin is likely to win the www.totegoracingclub.com Handicap at Naas in Ireland on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. A cash prize of €8,970 has been set for the triumphant horse.
A total of seven runners have been attracted towards the 1 mile event, which will test the stamina of everyone in the end. Furthermore, the going will be yielding, which means that the weather has been good for racing.
Things will not be simple for any participant, as the level of competition is quite high today. However, Man Of Erin is a consistent performer and he will definitely get the attention of the punters. He has been priced 11 to 4 by the bookies, which shows
that they expect him to be strong.
The four-year-old gelding made his debut back in June 2011 and took part in just three races that year. His performances in them were absolutely below par and he disappointed his team with the lack of speed and stamina. He did not even manage to finish in
the top 10 during his debut season, which was totally unacceptable.
However, W. T. Farrell’s trainee deserved lot better results than this and his team worked extremely hard on his fitness before his first appearance in the 2012 season. The efforts paid off positively, as he did an excellent job in his first race of the
year.
Man Of Erin was priced 9 to 2 back then and coincidently, the event took place at Naas. He was dominant right from the start until the end and did not allow others to come anywhere closer, winning by three lengths. This performance gave him a lot of confidence,
as he went onto win the next race as well.
The young runner kept the momentum going and did a decent job next time around as well. He was unable to complete a hat-trick of victories, but still finished as runner up, which was encouraging for his team.
In his most recent run, Invincible Spirit’s son managed to secure the third spot, despite being rated as the favourite to win. He will need a better effort in order to shine at Naas under seasoned jockey, Johnny Murtagh.
