Man decapitated on a greyhound bus?

Question

A passenger on a greyhound bus started stabbing the passenger next to him. They did not know each other. The bus driver then made an emergency stop and the passengers ran off. Next, the bus driver and two other men went back on the bus to see what was happening. The attacker then walked to the front of the bus, holding the victim's head and dropped it on the ground. He then went back to continue stabbing the body. The strange thing is that the witness reported that the attacker did not seem to have any rage. He acted like a robot.

Was he mentally ill. This scares the h**l out of me!

I think he was, or he had multiple personality disorder or something.

This guy had to be f*cking psychotic, and I don't give a sh*t if he is, he should either be fried on a chair, or given life with no parole. I really hope they don't give him the whole insanity plea and end up giving him 25 years, this motherf*cker needs to be put out, no matter what kind of mental illness he has.

AndrewXX: I guarantee you this guy wasn't from a city, he was probably from some hillbilly town or some f*cked up reserve. People in the city are normal, its in the small quiet towns where the weirdos hang out and go unnoticed.

What makes me so sad about this, is I have a brother that's 19 and I picture him being stabbed and everyone running off the bus after watching. I'm betting it took well over a minute for this man to stab the guy... come on!! There were men on this bus! There is also a fire ax and fire extinguishers! Seeing as this attacker had the kid against the wall...why... WHY didn't anyone try to kill this jerk from behind or at least break his neck or put a chop into his neck/back with the ax? I am surprised these men are being commended for their bravery.. sure, they got everyone else out safe but it doesn't sound like anyone stood up to this maniac... there could have been a cheap shot from the back by numerous men and maybe, MAYBE this kid may have survived? Now we have to feed and clothe this man's *** with our tax dollars in jail. woo hoo!

Then again, maybe all of these men on the bus had never had any type of training or thought to do such a thing. Makes you wonder what would have happened if a military trained man was on the bus.

This is beyond mental illness, it's like a black hole soul/personality this person successfully acquired.

That's why I never take the bus.Just looking around at the people in the bus station should keep you off the bus.

I watched the video yesterday, and I was horrified. The man who describes this story is hero, also the bus driver and the stopping trucker. I really do think the attacker was mentally ill. It worries me now that buses aren't even safe. It's just really sad an innocent person who's sleeping on a bus could be stabbed, 50 times for that manner, and decapitated. May he RIP.

The majority of the answers to the question are the same. People have already conceded to the fact that the attacker must be "psycho". Mental illness or drug abuse may not necessarily be the cause or his motivation. Does this man not know right from wrong? Children know right from wrong. Most people have an inherent desire to please but there are others who harbor a depraved indifference towards other people and society at large. His crime was premeditated, which means he thought about it in advance. He boarded the bus with a weapon, he intentionally choose his victim, stood over him and methodically slaughtered him as one would an animal. Is he responsible for his own egregious behavior? A court of law will determine that. This is not the first attack that has occured upon a Greyhound. The next question is whether or not Greyhound should be found negligent for the company's failure to provide a safe environment for it's passengers?

I've always said the human mind is the result of a freak accident of nature that was never meant to be.

A lot of people are walking around with way too many demons in their heads and any kind of chemical inbalance in their brains can make them hurt or kill someone.

And those are just the "crazy" ones. Look at all the wars and mafia killings and torture and crimes of passion and honour around the world that has gone on for tens of thousands of years on a daily basis.

There's definitely something wrong with the human species.

We're all lucky to have been born but that's it. After that we're all on our own and at the mercy of a savage and unpredicatble world.

He must be, that's just sick and I couldn't believe it when I heard it. What I want to know though is how the h**l he got to bring a knife? I mean don't they check the luggage and everything?

I heard about that too. He was stabbed 45-50 times before being decapitated on a greyhound WITH other passengers on it. This is a cruel and ****ed up world we're living in. I plan to move to the country in the coming years. Cities are just not safe anymore.
