Man last school year sucked, how do I make this one exciting?

Last year, the school year was really boring exept for a couple moments.

How do I make this year a little bit more exciting and interesting??

Get out of your shell and talk to new people. If you sit by people you don't know in some classes, turn and talk to them! If the teacher is being a weirdo, laugh about it with them. Be very social. Don't be afraid to show people who you are and go to social events like dances and stuff. Join different clubs that suit your interests or try out for the school play if you like to act/sing. If you like dancing, try out for the dance team. Just be really interactive with others and take advantage of the things offered at your school. Maybe suggest more events or like a charity thing to your teachers or principal and make plans to hang out with your friends more often on the weekends and sometimes after school.
