Man power or men power ? During the meeting with officials, my boss said that no man power now. what is it?

  1. Man power is the number of men available to do some work, like drill a mine or solve a problem.  No man power means there are no men available right now so there's nothing you can do.


  2. Man power is right. It means, suffecient employee is not available to do a particular job according to your lines. We may need to increase the man power (ie) no of emplyees to be increased to  finish the defined job.

  3. Just do your job and don't pay attention to what meetings say.

  4. To be politically correct it should be "staffing"

    Just means how many people are available to do a task.

    eg. If you were to host a large event you would need more manpower (not a very good example sorry)
