Well, to be honest, I could do without the periods- but having the ability to carry a baby does make up for that.  The pain of labour is awful, but the end result is worth it.  I could also live without the b***s- I'm sure some guy out there would like to swap- How about it? (Joke)

Honestly though, there are good and bad things to being any particular gender.  I might complain, but in the end, I am happy to be me, and I wouldn't change it for nuts.

Edit: Just to point this out- my father was a homemaker on and off throughout my childhood.  He and my mother swapped positions (breadmaker/homemaker) equally and they were both equally good at it.

men have it much better than women.  things start out equal at the beginning of their lives...but once puberty hits things start getting worse 4 girls.  they have their period every month and begin 2 have more emotional changes.  guys just have their voice crack...which isnt that bad.  then when a woman gets pregnant...she has 2 carry the baby and deal with all the pain and physical changes while the guy just has 2 deal with all of her emotional changes...which shouldnt b hard 4 any guy that truly loves the woman he impregnated.  then if the relationship isnt very healthy...its usually the woman that is abused...not the man.  then when it comes 2 stuff like careers...women still arent paid as much as men in most cases.  also womens sports r often ignored and thought inferior 2 mens sports.  overall women have it a lot worse than men.  i give them a lot of credit and im also very thankful im a dude

Women have it better!  Women can get away with crying, wearing clothes that were made for men or women, be a tomboy or feminine or anything in between.  If a woman walks into a bar and asks a man if he wants to have s*x with her, she has a good shot at getting a yes answer.

Women can be homemakers, or presidents of corporations.  Women can be athletes, or low-key receptionists.  Women can work in retail or food service (not that either is a good idea).

And last but not least- the woman chooses the man.

Men have it better. We are stronger, faster, have higher I.Q., make more money, cannot get pregnant, suffer from pain less, and are not burdened down with crazy emotions or PMS. We also have invented everything in society and have only made the world MORE manly in the past years... by constructing new social structures (capitalism, religions, standing armies, etc), men have insured that their ideas will dominate the world...

Obviously men overall still have it better. It will take many more years before a female president, I'm afraid.

But, I love that society allows me to be so in touch with my emotions as a woman. Little boys grow up in what seems like a cold, hard world to me.

sally bo, if your man loses his job due to some bad accident, you can bet that you will have to go out and be the earner in addition to being the housewife.  will he become a housewife if you are suddenly unable to?  if the answer is no, then you know that the man has it better.

edit: bluefast, women cannot express themselves fully -- if they act manlike, they will be humiliated not just by men but by other women.  if a man acts womanlike, he will only be humiliated by other men.  so who has it better?

Men have it better (I am a man saying this).

Women suffer from many physical ailments that I would imagine are extremely uncomfortable; Menstrual cycles, more intense emotions, and in general are not as strong or fast as men ( on average). Women also suffer from sexism towards them.

Men are under the continual  pressure to succeed and as the person above me said "bring home the bacon". Men die sooner, on average 3 years less. Honestly men dont get as much pleasure out of s*x; only happiness out of the few seconds before o****m. Men tend to be less understanding, therefore more ignorant, while women care more for all people because of maternal instinct that has them love their kids.

Bluefast, I have never been judged for the way I act. I have worn pink shirts and nobody seems to give a ****. Women dont have more social freedom than men. Women are judged on being fashionable and feminine and men are on being tough and masculine
