Manager http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Intikhab-Alam-Khan-c64382 blames Pakistan national cricketers for leaking confidential information – Cricket News Update
Intikhab Alam, the manager of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 cricket team, has held national players responsible for all the trouble Pakistan cricket has been going through since the last few years. He said it clearly that a small group of cricketers not only interfere in team
management but also want to establish their domination in the side.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been undergoing serious controversies during Ijaz Butt’s era of chairmanship. The Terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team followed by the spot-fixing scandal, defamed Pakistan cricket profusely.
Furthermore, the governing body has always been a subject of criticism for changing skippers, which is also considered as the biggest reason behind the team’s inconsistent performance over the years.
Recently, the PCB-Shahid Afridi dispute remained in the headlines and after suffering all the insult, PCB finally took a sensible step, resolving the issue after slapping the former skipper with a hefty fine of 4.5 million rupees.
The cricket experts within the country have been lashing out at PCB for its bad governance, but the manager, in contrary, believes that the players should be blamed for all the wrongdoings which are going on in the game.
"There were times when 15 minutes after a team meeting television channels were running tickers about things that happened or were discussed in the meeting. These things have damaged Pakistan cricket and are not good for our image," said Alam while talking
to a local TV channel.
The manager, meanwhile, made it clear that the board has adopted zero-tolerance policy and the indiscipline will not be accepted in any case. Alam, who was shouldering his responsibilities as the coach before being appointed as manager, was recently slammed
by Afridi for deliberately submitting negative tour-reports against him.
The 69-year-old former Test cricketer however, rubbished the allegations that he has personal problems with Afridi, saying that his reports are based on facts.
"Whatever I have written in my reports is facts and what I honestly believe is true and is my own personal assessment of the players. If I http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Try-c94438 to hide these things I am not helping Pakistan cricket or these players. (The) truth must come out," added the
former Test cricketer who has served Pakistan in 47 Tests and four ODIs.
