How can I learn to manage stress without losing my mind? Lol the next two weeks are gonna be h**l =D

I've already started school (home school) and my teachers are strict about us going ahead in our work, but all next week I'm going to be getting ready for my livestock show which is next weekend. I have to keep working with my animals which takes 4 hours a day. I also have a job though so that makes all this harder. Another thing, my boyfriend has to have surgery on his jaw next week and he's going to be out for 3 weeks and he felt the need to tell me 3 people have died having this surgery, so that's just made me a little crazy. I just need some ideas for how to manage all this stress without losing my mind =( Any ideas will be very appreciated!

  1. to manege your strass all you need to do i seither take deep breath find time for your self at least 30 min it will work relax in those30 min put a blanket over your eyes and lay down just thnk of good things

  2. THINK POSSITIVE! if you let it get over the top you could be hospitalized, suicide etc..

find a time where you could...relax, don't do anything, sleep all day if you want..you could cuddle up on you bed with a warm blanket drinking hot tea with lights of and watching a movie you like..

take deep breaths when ever you feel like bursting in anger and listen to soft, comforting favorite music

read books about stress managment..or talk to your doctor you could also keep a diaryto let out ur thoughts....always keep calm and be positive then stress will just..go away

here are some websites i found for more advice and information:

  3. I'am sorry everything seems a bit hectic and stressful, but I do have tips. Just look forward to when it is all over, maybe even a little countdown? Think up a reward, like going to cinema with a friend or something like that, and have your reward at the end of the two weeks, or maybe if you have time, have another one half way through.

When you have a few minutes, do something you enjoy and find relaxing

    good luck

  4. Just take it easy...

  5. Life sometimes sucks doesn't it.  You need to find a happy place and go there --- really.  You need to take time for yourself.  Try taking a hot bath with your favorite scent in the water, turn out the lights and light some scented candles in the bathroom and just put some bubbles in the water and just lay there.

  6. That kind of sucks.

It doesn't really seem like you'll have time to take chillax so all I can say it try to get a good night's sleep every night because you'll need it, and take deep breaths when you feel like you're over stressed.

Don't work yourself too hard and if you have to quit doing something because you can't handle it all at once, then stop.

  7. It seems like you are really playing all this up in your mind and making it seem far worse than what it actually is. Jaw surgery isn't that bad, three people have died from that one surgery? That's nothing. More people die from root canal than that.

Your schedule is so light. You don't even know. You have school, job, sick boyfriend. How is any of that really that bad?

You're home schooled, and I know from being home schooled myself at one point, that it really prevents you from seeing the world how it is. So while you might think you have a heavy load, if you were to step into a conventional school and actually have a challenging schedule, you would see that all this that you're needlessly stressing over isn't really all that bad.

The easiest way to deal with something when it's giving you more grief than it should is find some time just to chill out, and just calm down. Don't feel the need to put yourself in the mind set where you have all this stuff going on and how it is overwhelming you. If you can get up in the morning and put to feet on the floor, stand up, and start walking, you're not overwhelmed. And even if you were, worrying about it isn't going to change a thing. Get the job done, and after two weeks, life returns to normal.
