Manakau city, auckland?

What is life like there? I heard it is really reallly bad. Does anybody live there or near there or even works there.

What does the area look like. Are there really street gangs?

How bad is it?

yeah i live close and that is a part of the city that you do not want to be walking alone down a alley way at night! but there is them in every city i think the worst is Otara
