The veteran goalkeeper was poor by his standards, and was uncharacteristically slow in reading danger and stepping off his line whenever he was required. Was not at fault for the equalizer, but he should’ve dealt fairly easily with Dzeko’s winner.

The Belgian centre-half had a decent game, but was kept busy throughout the 90 minutes. He battled well in the air, and impressed going forward. He did suffer a knock in the second half that clearly affected the rest of his game.

The Frenchman had a poor game, and was fortunate not to have conceded a penalty in the first half when Aguero’s flick grazed his arm. Gallas looked shaky all evening, and was later move to right-back where he fared better than he was in a central role.
Kyle Walker – 5
The English right-back had another poor game, and displayed shades of the dismal performance from last week’s game against Wigan Athletic. Walker was booked for an early challenge and was caught out of position on more than one occasion.
Steven Caulker – 6
The player scored the only Tottenham goal, but failed to stand out other than that. He never looked comfortable on the ball and had his weakest performance in a Spurs jersey.
Clint Dempsey – 7
The American caused problems for City, and linked well with Adebayor. However, he struggled to make an impact and was unable to penetrate the City back four.

The midfielder continues to impress in the box-to-box role in the absence of Scott Parker. Huddlestone was clinical with his passing and was a dominating figure in midfield as he kept Yaya Toure at bay.

The diminutive winger never looked likely to pose a threat for City’s left backs, and was kept quiet by Gael Clichy throughout the game. Lennon had a difficult game, and failed to make an impact.

The Welshman had an unusually withdrawn performance and was wasteful with his long-range efforts. He failed to make an impact attacking-wise, but defended well and worked hard for his team.
Sandro – 7
The Brazilian was ferocious in the middle of the park, and was a clear physical presence for Tottenham. Battled well against Yaya Toure and put on an impressive and imposing performance.

The striker had a tremendous game, and was perhaps unlucky not to have scored on the night. He was heavily involved in all of Tottenham’s attacks from the get-go, and almost grabbed an assist for Huddlestone for Tottenham’s second goal. Adebayor held the
ball up well and caused problems for the City back three when they changed formation. He was subbed in the final minutes after an impressive game.

Dawson came on for the injured http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kyle-Walker-c21566, and dropped into the centre-back position to accompany Caulker as Gallas moved to the right. He watched on helplessly as Silva lofted the through ball over the Tottenham back four for Dzeko’s winner.
