Manchester City – Probable starting line-up for the season 2011/2012 (Part 1)
Manchester City have been comparatively less active in the transfer market this summer. Last season Roberto Mancini made sure that he gets enough players to keep his team in the top four of the English Premier League. The Italian manager was able to complete

Manchester City were not able to qualify for the UEFA Champions League so they competed for the Europa League; however, the efforts were quite half hearted from Roberto Mancini’s side. The Italian coach concentrated on the league and also won the FA Cup

Roberto Mancini was quite active in the last summer transfer window. Even though he had a strong line-up, he still added a few star players to the team in order to remain in the top four of the UEFA Champions League spot.
With the Manchester City chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak giving full support to Roberto Mancini, he made a few signings to strengthen his squad.

The former Manchester United striker, Carlos Tevez was made captain of the team and this was a very strong decision taken by Roberto Mancini as Tevez later on became the main inspiration for the English club. He was the one scoring most of the goals for
the team and kept them alive in the Premier League. The Argentinean striker also won the Premier League Golden Boot.
