The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 skipper dominated the aerial battles and looked at ease against Edin Dzeko. Squandered possession a couple of times, but nevertheless was overall tidy in the defence.

Will be a little disappointed with his performance. Failed to provide any dangerous balls inside the opposition’s box and lacked the cutting edge while going forward. However, provided the pass which resulted in the game’s opening goal.

Didn’t have one of his better outings. Committed a couple of blunders which could have proved costly and was the weak link in the Toffees defence. Made a poor clearance just after the restart, allowing Tevez to pounce on the ball but was able to make amends

Was one of the more notable players in the midfield. His pass completion was excellent, but was forced to play more defensively in the second half in order to subdue the Eastlanders forwards. However, looked fatigued in the closing stages and was unable

Another textbook stuff for the veteran Evertonian. Involved himself in the thick of things, moving back and forth across the field in order to support his team-mates and will be satisfied with his showing.

Another disappointing performance from the Scotsman. Failed to force an issue upfront and found it difficult to get past Zabaleta.
Marouane Fellaini – 8.5
Once again, the visitors top performer on the evening. Continued with his goal scoring run to put his side ahead in the first period and always looked threatening in the final quarter. However, was penalized for pulling one of City’s players inside the box,
costing his side a penalty.
