Manchester City and Chelsea looking to sign next Cristiano Ronaldo, Sporting Lisbon's Bruma
English Premier League sides Manchester City and Chelsea have both been linked heavily with a move for Portuguese teenager Bruma. The fifteen-year-old, who is currently a member of the Sporting Lisbon side in Portugal, seems to
have caught the eye of the two teams, who are willing to battle it out to capture the player’s signature.
The winger has, for obvious reasons, been called the next Cristiano Ronaldo, for the simple fact that he plays in the same position as the Portugal captain, plays with the same style as Ronaldo and even got his major breakthrough
at the same club as the former Sporting player. He is, however, still only fifteen years old, which is why he will have to wait till Sunday to sign his first professional contract with Sporting.
Sporting are strongly hoping that the player will go through with the deal and put pen to paper as soon as the clock strikes twelve on Saturday night. The team has also been rumoured to have put a buyout clause around the range
of seventeen million pounds for the player; that stipulation will, however, only be valid if the player does sign the deal to make it official.
The likes of Manchester City and Chelsea are trying their level best to try and make the player think otherwise and sign with them instead.
The reason for two of the top teams in Europe wanting to sign the player is down to the simple fact that Bruma is believed to be the next big thing out of Portugal. The player recently impressed tremendously in the Portugal Under-19s
when he went on to score twice in three games, despite being one of the youngest players on the pitch.
Manchester City are reportedly making the player one h**l of an offer. They are willing to offer him up to two hundred and twenty thousand pounds as a signing on fee. Along with that, they are reportedly offering the player a stable
job for his parents. It is obvious that City want the player desperately and are leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit to sign him.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are playing the card which says they are the bigger team and can provide the player with far more success then he would see at City.
However, it is now down to waiting till Sunday to see what the player decides to do in his near future.
