Manchester City and United looking to battle it out for Argentinean starlet Rogelio Funes Mori
Two of the biggest rivals in the football world, Manchester City and Manchester United are looking to battle it out once again. Only this time around the battle between both the team's won’t be on the pitch, but rather of it as both teams are looking to
secure the services of seventeen year old Argentine striker Rogelio Funes Mori.
Manchester United have already sent out their top scouts to watch the player perform in his home nation, while City were quick to follow the news about the player and have now developed a rather keen interest in the player as well.
Both the Premier League teams however also face stiff competition from elsewhere. AC Milan, Real Madrid and Barcelona are all reported to be amongst the teams that are currently monitoring the player’s situation and would like him to play for their teams.
Mori is however not a new face to the Premier League. He was previously part of the Chelsea side back when he was twelve years old. The player’s performances were however spotted by River Plate, who didn't think twice before luring the player back to Argentina
where he has grown to be a local hero already.
Mori by all means is slowly becoming one of the hottest prospects in the world of football at the moment. With most teams scheduled to lose out on most of their top players in the coming few seasons, a player who is only nineteen will appear to be like gold
amongst the other players out there.
The player is currently rated at a mere eleven million pounds, which by all means seems to be a bargain for hm. Despite having trained at Chelsea, he turned down the offer to take a trial at the club and instead moved to Argentina. Over the course of the
last eighteen months Mori has proved himself to be one of the most lethal players around and as a result has caught the eyes of the top European clubs.
With both the teams in Manchester now being as good as the other and having the money to sign the player, it will be an interesting series of battles between both the teams to secure the players services. It is now a matter of sitting back and waiting to
see which team goes in for the player first.
