Manchester City manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emmanuel-Adebayor-c12526 in recent weeks despite admitting the Togolese was doing well at Tottenham Hotspur.
After falling out of favour with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 remained favourites at the Etihad
stadium.
However, with Tevez also having fallen out of favour after a dispute with the club and injuries to both Dzeko and Balotelli, City find themselves without too many attacking options. It is no surprise that Mancini admitted to the possibility of recalling
Adebayor to the club in the future.
Adebayor on the other hand has done incredibly well since joining the Spurs in the summer, going on to score nine goals so far in the Premier League. His efforts have undoubtedly helped the London side in the title race as they find themselves in third place
on the Premier League table.
Mancini said while speaking to reporters:
“I am happy for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manu-c23375 because he is playing very well for Tottenham.”
The Manchester City boss admitted he was uncertain of what the future held in terms of Adebayor’s return to his host club. He revealed he was happy with his performance for Tottenham Hotspur but would wait before he decided on whether or not he wanted to
recall the player.
He revealed:
“I don't know in this moment. I said I am happy because I watched a lot of games and he has played very well, scored a lot of goals.
Sometimes it is possible that you have a situation like this - you have good players but he wants to play always. This is difficult in a top team.”
The Italian manager was wary of the upcoming clash against the Spurs over the weekend, seeing as how they had emerged as title contenders over the past few months. He admitted they were favourites to win the title along with Manchester City and Manchester
United.
Mancini continued:
“I think in this moment there are three clubs - City, [Manchester] United and Tottenham who can win the title.
After that, maybe http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 because things can change in the next four or five games.”
