Part 2: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini’s men will host former club manager, Mark Hughes, and his highly motivated side with the home team looking to grab all three points needed to lift the Barclays Premier League.
It is the 38th and the final match of the 2011/12 Barclays Premier League season with plenty still up for grabs and for Manchester City, the club will be looking to lift their first Barclays Premier League title since the format was changed all
those years ago.
Manchester City v QPR
The Etihad Stadium is where Manchester City hope to do one better than every other team in the league and be crowned champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, however, in their way stands Queens Park Ranger and in a manager who knows a thing or two about City in the shape of
Mark Hughes.
The former City manager could see his QPR side relegated if Bolton Wanderers win their final league match of the season provided QPR do not get a result. A draw for Mark Hughes’ men would guarantee their survival in the league on the basis of goal difference
if it comes to that.
Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 midfielder, Joey Barton, has stated that the side are relishing the prospect of upsetting his former club and ending their season on a high.
On the other end is Manchester City who will be looking to justify the millions of dollars they have invested in their squad by returning a major piece of silverware. It was Yaya Toure who scored a brace against Newcastle United that earned City three points
and kept them in pole position and one has to wonder which of City’s talented line-up will be stepping up this time around.
Norwich v Aston Villa
Norwich City’s season can be termed a success as they have avoided relegation and are comfortably sitting in 13th place in the league with a tally of 44 points. The club have been in a buoyant mood since their 3-3 draw with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 in what was
one of the most entertaining matches of the season.
Mathematically, Aston Villa, could be relegated if Bolton Wanderers win their match by a record margin, however, that seems highly unlikely. It is a match that neither side has any real motivation to win and will be more of an exhibition event as very little
is at stake.
However, both clubs will want to end on a high, none more so than Norwich City who will be playing in front of their home supporters.
A draw seems the most likely result yet if any side was to edge the match one’s inclination has to be towards Norwich City.
