Manchester City given the green light as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 will do fine without him
Manchester City have been given the green light by Daniele de Rossi, after the player came forth and admitted that Roma would do just fine without him, should he decide to leave the team.
The Italian international has spent his entire career with Roma, but over the course of the last couple of months, contract talks over him extending his stay with the team seem to have taken a toll for the worst.
Manchester City were reported to be interested in landing the player in the summer transfer window, but with the teams failing to agree a mutual agreement, the deal broke down.
However it now seems like the player might just be on his way to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 after all.
After helping England beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Northern-Ireland-c2972, the Italian came forth and revealed his plans for the future, as he is quoted to have said: “Regardless of what happens with my contract and my future, the most important thing is the future of Roma"

“Who knows, they might save the money from my contract and spend it on improving the squad. I see good things happening at the club and that bodes well for the future of the Giallorossi.”
Nonetheless, the midfielder’s immediate future is still dedicated to Roma, as he is looking to help the team win their derby game this coming weekend.
“I do feel the derby very strongly. It’s true that in the past, when I was young, I didn’t sleep the night before and as a result never had a good performance. I am calmer now," he concluded.
One of the other teams that have been looking to land the player are http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. The North London club are currently nowhere near being the team that they were a season or two ago and are looking to add some positive additions to their squad.
With City on the brink of falling out of line with the UEFA Fair Play rules, Arsenal might just be able to sneak under City’s nose and land the player for themselves.
