Manchester City looking to conflict with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kolo-c21278 Toure over his image rights – Premier League News
Manchester City are on the verge of breaking out in an all out brawl with another one of their players as the team seems to be having a number of problems with Kolo Toure.
The defender was part of a drug scandal last season and despite him trying to claim it was dietary pills that he took, the club still feel that the player owes them some sort of a compensation for his actions.
The defender has apparently gone as far as to tell his friends that he is looking to move away from the team, should they pursue their childish advances and fine the player for his actions.
The team has apparently already tired to fine the player half a million pounds in the past, but with that route turning out to be rather unsuccessful, the team ended up turning elsewhere. The club are now looking to try and get something out of the player’s
image rights, as they look to teach him a lesson for a momentary lapse in his judgment.
Toure is currently set to face off with the Manchester City board, as they look to decide just what to do with the player’s future. The defender is going to be going in with his legal advisors and hence the outcome of the meeting, irrelevant of who wins,
won’t ensure the player staying at the club on the long run.
The player is currently looking towards the Players Football Association ( PFA ) to help him out in his hearing, given the way they handled the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez case. The PFA went on to get City to drop their charges to half of what they initially planned on
charging the defender and since then, they have gone on to win the trust of a number of players worldwide.
The defender fell in trouble with the club and the PFA last March, as he was found to be taking an illegal substance. The player made it clear that it was his wife’s dietary pills that made his body react the way it did, but he was not getting any sympathy
from the club or the PFA.
It is now a wait to see just what the future holds for the player and what fine City will be looking to impose on his shoulders.
