Manchester City looking to edge past Barcelona in order to capture Alexis Sanchez from Udinese
It seems like Manchester City are on the verge of overthrowing Barcelona and are now on route to landing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexis-Sánchez-c4979 from Udinese.
According to sources, the Italian club have been offered a massive £35.8 million by City, along with another four and a half million pounds, to be paid as bonuses. In doing so, the Citizens have blown Barcelona’s £33.9m bid out of the water and despite the
Catalans offering Jeffren as part of the deal, it seems like the Italians would much rather just take the cash.
The twenty two year old Chilean international was previously on the verge of flying to Spain, in order to go through with his medical at the Camp Nou and to agree personal terms with the club. However, it seems like Sanchez will now have to wait just a little
longer, in order to know exactly what the future holds for him.
Udinese have apparently asked Sanchez to cancel his plans to fly to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/America-c38390.
However, as a result of this new bid from City, it seems like Udinese and Sanchez are now on completely different wave lengths. The player seems to have his heart set on making a move to Spain, while Udinese want him to travel to Manchester instead.
Nonetheless, this staggering offer from City, has now also gone on to affect Barcelona’s plans. The team will now have very little time to assess the situation and act on it. The Catalans can now either match City’s offer for the player, or risk the chance
of potentially seeing Sanchez join City instead.
Should Barcelona opt to meet City’s offer for the player, it is safe to say that Sanchez will definitely be on his way to the Camp Nou. However, this bid might force http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 to offload a number of their players, in order to raise cash for future signings.
As a result, it seems like City have successfully managed to not only cast Udinese and Sanchez in a major doubt regarding their future, but, they have also successfully managed to get Barcelona stuck in a situation, which has no clear cut solution.
With both City and Barcelona now standing an almost equal chance of landing the player, it is now going to be a wait over the next couple of days to see exactly what team, the Chilean wing wizard will join.
