Manchester City looking to make move for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dani-Alves-c9869 and Ricardo Kaka – Premier League update
Manchester City are reportedly looking to make a move for the Brazilian duo of Dani Alves and Ricardo Kaka. The team has apparently gone ahead and set aside around ninety million pounds to make these transfers come true and seem to want to use the uncertain
situation that the players are in at the moment to their favour.
Alves, who is currently employed by Barcelona, was in contract talks with the team over the last couple of months, but those talks have been to no avail. As a result the 27-year-old Brazilian was rumoured to be on his way out of the team with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 being
his preferred destination.
When talking about his contract and future at the club, Alves is reported to have said, “I don’t feel the club have been doing their utmost to renew my contract, but that’s just a feeling I have. I want an agreement to be reached within a few days. I’m as
committed to the club as anyone in the squad. I won’t be a hypocrite though. If the club want to replace me it could cost them dear. What I want is for the club to value me depending on my importance and influence within the squad. If they do that, I’ll be
over the moon and if not, thanks for these years at the club.”
Manchester City have also been long term admirers of Ricardo Kaka. The Manchester based team tried to secure the Brazilian playmaker’s services prior to his move to Real Madrid, but failed in their attempts. However things seem to be a whole lot different
right now.
Kaka after suffering a knee injury at the start of the season has been dropped to the benches of Madrid and is currently finding it close to impossible to reclaim his spot in the starting eleven of the team.
Madrid have also secured the services of City forward, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Emmanuel-Adebayor-c12526, on a loan but it seems like the team might just want to keep hold of the striker on a permanent basis at the end of the season. City are going to try and use this to their advantage
as they will be presenting the Spanish club with a trade plus money offer for the Brazilian and will be looking to offer the Togolese striker as part of that offer.
As it stands, if City play their cards right, they might just get their hands on two of the best Brazilians in the business at the moment. If this does happen, City will be possession of a very potent front-line that will make their Premier League rivals
very nervous.
