Manchester City looking to make move for Stefan Savic – Premier League Update
Manchester City seem to be tackling the current transfer market, with a lot of professionalism. The team has avoided making irrational moves for a host of players and are instead looking to bring in only the best that money can buy. Some might even say,
that the team is actually targeting quality over quantity for a change.
Based on that fact, the Manchester based club were being linked with a host of strikers over the last couple of weeks. However, it now seems like the team is also looking to boost their http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Defence-c38904.
At the moment, City are rumoured to be interested in making a move for Partizan Belgrade defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Stefan-Savic-c34022.
The Montenegrin international, has been linked with a number of clubs, but, it seems like City are looking to make a swift move for the player, in order to avoid any and all competition.
At the moment, the team is expected to launch a bid worth around seven million pounds for the twenty year old, but, are expected to go as high as ten million, in order to secure the player’s capture.
Partizan’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mladen-Krstajic-c26133, who seems to have been made aware of this potential move, is quoted to have said: “Savic is still here with us, so he has signed nothing yet"
"Stefan Savic is under contract, he's a Partizan player and normally goes on with his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684.
"I left, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marko-Jovanovic-c24184 is about to leave. If we lose Savic too, coach Stanojevic would be in a trouble defensively. Therefore, Savic can leave only if we find adequate replacement at the back."
Savic went on to join Partizan last summer, after spending some time with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 on trial. However, it seems like the player might be a little reluctant to parting ways with the club, as he is reported to have said: "If the time comes for me to leave Partizan,
it would be difficult - but that is our life in sport. But for now I have no transfer information"
Nonetheless, irrelevant of what the player, or Partizan are stating at the moment, what can be said assuredly, is that if City want to land Savic, there is very little that Partizan can do, to stop them.
City happen to have ridiculous amounts of cash with which they can buy players and to them spending ten million, instead of seven, isn’t going to be that much of a difference to their finances.
Hence, we can all sit back and assume that Savic is going to be on his way to the Eastlands, within the next couple of days.
