Manchester City looking to make moves for Napoli’s Edinson Cavani, Marek Hamsik and Ezequiel Lavezzi – Premier League Update
Manchester City’s coach, Attilio Lombardo has stated that he is hopeful over the fact that City might be able to make a move for a trio of Napoli players. The three players’ that the coach is talking about are, Edinson Cavani, Marek Hamsik and Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The dynamic trio have been winning fans all over the work with their brilliant performances all season long and as a result they have been linked with moves out of the Italian side.
These rumours are being made, despite the fact that Cavani penned down a permanent deal with the club last month and the duo of Hamsik and Lavezzi stated that they were not looking to move out of Lazio.
Nonetheless, if one team can land three highly talented players, who have no intention of leaving their club, it’s Manchester City. The team has the buying power to help change any player and teams mind over a possible transfer and coupled with the fact that City are now set to play in the Champions League, they are the favourites to land the talented attacking trident.
Lombardo, when talking about the trio, is quoted to have said: "I hope there can be some negotiations between http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 and Manchester City, especially as I'd see one of their three forwards would really suit City"
"The trio of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073 would bring success to any club.”
"I doubt they'd release Hamsik and Cavani at the same time.”
"Manchester City are tracking many players because this club wants to do well, to win and to become the most important side in Europe."
Lombardo also went on to reveal that despite City previously being interested in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexis-Sánchez-c4979, the probability of the team landing the attacker was now rather low.
Lombardo then went on to add:"It's true we did track Sanchez, but I think this player is more suited to an Italian club right now"
Based on the coach’s comments, we can draw a number of conclusions. Firstly, we can say with some form of certainty that City are in line to land at least one Lazio player before the start of the coming season. On the other hand, the fact that Sanchez is no longer a City target, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Manchester United jump in and try and snap up the highly talented Chilean forward.
Nonetheless, there has been no response from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775, based on these comments. However, the club is bound to respond to these statements within the coming weeks.
