Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini asks Mario Balotelli to check himself
Manchester City’s manager, Roberto Mancini has gone on to issue an ultimatum to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937, which states that the player needs to correct his actions and the way that he has been acting, or he might risk his career as a professional footballer in England.
The Italian forward’s move from Inter Milan to City was supposed to be one which would help take him into a completely new direction. However, ever since his arrival at the club, he has gone on to take part in a number of on and off-field antics and disciplinary
issues, which have resulted in rumours floating about that Balotelli might be on his way back to Italy at the end of the season.
However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323, despite being infuriated at the player, has come forth to defend him in a way, while stating that his future lays in his own hands.
The manager is reported to have said, “I understand him. He is 20 years old, and at that age people can do stupid things. But maybe now the time has come for him to help himself, and to understand the mistakes he is making. Otherwise he risks throwing away
his abilities, which are immense. He has scored some tremendous goals this season.”
The way that Mancini has conducted himself in regards to Balotelli is rather commendable. The manager has gone on to give the player the benefit of the doubt, despite the striker potentially being one of the reasons that City are no longer in the Europa
League any more.
Nonetheless, even the manager using Balotelli’s age as an excuse isn’t the rational way to go about the issue. Balotelli is not the only 20-year-old talented youngster in the Premier League. If we take a look at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463, who happens to be a year younger
than Balotelli, he has gone on to not only establish himself in the Arsenal squad, but has also gone on to practically get the formation of the national side changed in order for it to favour him and he has done all of that, while making the news for his on-field
brilliance and not his off-field antics.
Balotelli at this moment really needs to re-think his future, because the act which states that he is the most talented youngster in the world and that he has the potential of being as good as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629, just isn’t holding up any
more.
Balotelli is no doubt a decent striker and even has the ability to be one of the most lethal players around on his day, but his inconsistency and stupidity is something that is hindering not only his team’s success, but also his own.
If Balotelli continues to stay in the state of mind that he is in the moment, then it wouldn’t be surprising to see his career running out before it even kicks-off.
