Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini believes his side deserved their FA Cup semi-final win
Manchester City manager Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has claimed that his side deserved to win their FA Cup semi-final encounter against bitter rivals Manchester United.

The Sky Blues walked away from Wembley with a 1-0 victory over the Red Devils to book their place in the final of the tournament.
For a while, it looked as though Manchester United were destined to continue their recent dominance over City, as the Red Devils laid siege to Joe Hart’s goal in the opening half hour of the match. However, Roberto Mancini’s men fought their way back
into the contest, and Yaya Toure’s second half strike was enough to earn them a place in the final of the FA Cup.
It is a result that few could have seen coming. Manchester United were the clear favourites going into the match. The Red Devils had seemed completely unstoppable in recent weeks, especially after having overcome

It just goes to show that nothing can be taken for granted in football. The FA Cup Manchester derby seemed to have brought out the best in both teams, and the match could have gone either way. However, few will argue that City ultimately deserved the
win.
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has expressed his delight at seeing his side overcome United in the semi-final, but he warned his players that the job was far from over.
Speaking after the match, Mancini said, “I am very happy for our supporters because they deserved to have a day like this afternoon. But what is also important for us is not to forget that we must play another game [the final]. Today we won only a
semi-final.”
He added, “We had a fantastic spirit . . . we deserved to win.”
Things are now looking up for Manchester City. The Sky Blues are on track to end their long standing trophy drought now that they are through to the FA Cup final.
In addition to that, City are also in a strong position to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
